About Me
Welcome to my archive site, where I save old articles from oblivion. Whoever said the internet was permanent was wrong — as publications shrink and disappear, so does all the work.
These days I’m the Editorial Director of Areni Global, the London-based think tank.
I also create editorial strategies for companies with plenty of data, but no idea how best to communicate it. Plus, I also occasionally write and edit, including white papers, research reports and classic journalism.
From 2021 to August 2022 I was the founding Executive Editor of The Drop at Pix Wine, a search engine. Within three months, the Wall Street Journal called us one of the most trusted wine authorities on the web.
From 2008 to 2021, I was editor-in-chief of Meininger’s Wine Business International, a global, English-language magazine published by Meininger Verlag, one of Germany’s oldest publishing houses. In that job, I reported from 22 countries.
Before I moved to Europe, I wrote about everything from the arts to oil and gas and the funeral industry, and before that I worked as an advertising copywriter in blue chip agencies, doing creative work for clients such as Qantas, Adobe, MasterCard and more.
Greatest professional challenge? Writing about European cities for Delicious magazine, and eating 32 French meals in four days. But I did it!
And here’s the most important thing — I’m for hire! If you have research to be done, white papers to be written, or an audience that needs an entertaining but insightful speech, drop me a line at felicity@drinkersinsider.com

About Me
Well, occasionally I contribute to other publications, like The Guardian USA. In fact, before I moved to Europe, I wrote about everything from the arts to oil and gas and the funeral industry, and before that I worked as an advertising copywriter in blue chip agencies, doing creative work for clients such as Qantas, Adobe, MasterCard and more.
Greatest professional challenge? Writing about European cities for Delicious magazine, and eating 32 French meals in four days. But I did it!
This website is basically my archive. I’ve seen too much of my work disappear when magazines fold, so I’ve plonked a lot of old stuff here.
But I’m always keen to do new stuff! If you have an interesting project, drop me a line through the Contact Form. You can also connect with me on Twitter and, like everybody else, I have a Substack. Called Editrix, it’s a collection of thoughts on the art of editing.
